Concentrate composition by weight: 50% melted amber and 50% oil. These percentages refer to mass, not volume. For example, 100 g of concentrate contains 50 g of melted amber and 50 g of oil.

Concentrate: what dilution means

The bottle contains 100 ml of varnish concentrate. Adding a compatible solvent reduces viscosity and increases the liquid mixture volume; it does not increase the amount of amber resin or oil. Example by volume: 1 part concentrate + 0.75 part solvent gives approximately 175 ml from 100 ml concentrate + 75 ml solvent. This is a calculation example, not a guaranteed yield or a mixing instruction for every formulation. Follow the instructions for the specific product and first test a small amount. Solvent is not included.
